Rulemaking

DEQ administers the Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan program under Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 340, Division 54. DEQ must also meet requirements under Oregon Revised Statutes and the federal Clean Water Act and ensure program administrative rules address these requirements.

Rulemaking Update (2011-2012)

DEQ will be updating and amending the CWSRF loan program administrative rules in OAR-340-054. A comprehensive rule review was last conducted in 2003. As part of this process, DEQ has selected and appointed a CWSRF Advisory Committee which will provide recommendations to DEQ for this rulemaking.

Previous Rulemaking

DEQ amended CWSRF loan program administrative rules in 2009 and 2010 to address federal requirements under the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the 2010 Appropriation Act. These rulemakings ensured timely and effective implementation of federal requirements.
