Household Hazardous Waste Display

What is it?

There are two versions of the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) display. One for outdoor/indoor use and the other for indoor use only (or fair weather). The displays are designed for use at education/outreach events to educate the public on what are hazardous types of household products and what are some suggested alternatives.

Outdoor/Indoor Display

  • Contents:
    • Three full color fabric panels (approx. 72 x 20 per panel)
    • Empty sample containers of alternatives to hazardous household products
    • Pedestal (shipping case converts into a pedestal)
      • Shipping case (21" x 15" x 38") has wheels for easy maneuverability, case and contents weigh approximately 58 pounds.

Indoor Display

  • Contents:
    • Tri-fold panels - for table-top display
    • Attaching shelf
    • Empty sample containers of alternatives to hazardous household products
    • Shipping case (8" x 26" x 54") has wheels for easy maneuverability, case and contents weigh approximately 68 pounds.

Why do I need it?

These displays are designed to educate the public on household hazardous products and their alternatives. They are attractive and can be used with or without a staff person.

Where would I use it?

This display is particularly useful prior to HHW collection events and comes with a reminder about a mercury thermometer exchange, if that is part of the collection event. The reminder is detachable if a thermometer exchange is not part of the event.

Other locations for these displays are libraries, town halls, community centers, schools, fairs, etc.

When and for how long may I use it?

Anytime of the year, for up to 10 consecutive days at a time, depending on demand. If and whenever possible, please allow up to ten (10) days for delivery.

How can I reserve it?
