Site Summary

The NuWay Oil site is located at 7039 NE 46th Street, Portland, Oregon. The Nuway Oil Company operated a used oil re-refining facility at the site from 1935 to 1987. The cleanup investigation has been completed at the site and the cleanup approach selected. The Record of Decision was issued in January 2006. The cleanup at the site will include soil excavation, sediment dredging, bank stabilization, and site capping. The first phase of cleanup at the site is planned for summer 2006.
